When you begin to see pupae developing within your mealworms, gently place them on top of the Pupae Sanctuary. Once they transform to beetles, they will climb over any remaining pupae and drop down to join the other beettles below.

Transfer pupae into the sanctuary once they straighten and their skin has a matte appearance. Check daily for newly emerged pupae and move them to your pupae sanctuary.
